Pavlo “Pashtet” Belyanskyy – Ukrainian writer, screenwriter, blogger, and soldier in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as co-founder of the DIPA publishing house. Born in 1977 in Luhansk region to a military family, he grew up moving between schools and towns. He studied chemical technology in Dnipro, but his career ranged widely: guard, loader, journalist, advertiser, even head of a monument company. He wrote over a hundred stories and gained recognition through his blog “Pashtet.”

✨ His blog, full of everyday notes, became the foundation for his first books. 📖 The novel “You Must Fight, Cannot Retreat” was written on the frontline, in fragments stolen from sleep. 💡 Among soldiers he jokes: “If you have free time – sleep first, then write.” 🎬 His debut book was almost immediately adapted into a film – rare for Ukrainian literature. 🏆 His war novel became a bestseller, resonating with a wide readership. 🙃 Humorously claims his creative plans echo military ones: “First Balakliya, then Luhansk.” 😄 Amusingly recalls spending hours changing a single word, only to revert to the original.
