Andriy Mykolayovych Semyankiv – anesthesiologist, PhD in medicine, blogger and popularizer of evidence-based medicine known as Med Goblin. With over 14 years of experience in anesthesiology and intensive care, he has participated in international clinical studies and trained military medics. In 2021 he published the popular science bestseller “Evidence-Based (and Not So Much) Medicine”, followed by the award-winning novel “Dancing with Bones” in 2022, which received the BBC Book of the Year Award. After the full-scale invasion, he volunteered as a field medic in a mobile hospital. In 2025, he was honored with the National Legend of Ukraine award.
