Anna Hruver

Anna Gruver is a Ukrainian poet, essayist, and translator, born in 1996 in Donetsk and now based in Kyiv. She debuted in 2019 with the poetry collection Nothing Was Found at Your Request, and in 2022 published the novel Her Empty Places, featured in PEN’s best-book lists. A graduate of Judaic Studies, she has received the Smoloskyp prize and held writer residencies in Graz, Krakow, and Genshagen.
