Hryhir Tiutiunnyk – late 20th-century Ukrainian writer, author of “Zavyaz” and “Klymko.” A master of the short story, he portrayed ordinary people with tenderness and truth. His style was sincere, psychologically nuanced, and rich with the living Ukrainian vernacular.

📖 His brother was also a writer, often causing confusion between them. 🌾 His works depict village life and moral struggles in post-war Ukraine. 🖋 Though he wrote little, each story was considered a literary event. 🏆 Awarded the Shevchenko State Prize in 1980. 💔 Died by suicide the same year. 😮 Odd fact: confessed he could only write the truth, even if it harmed him. 😂 Funny: colleagues said his witty remarks were shorter than his short stories.
