Markiyan Tarasovych Prokhasko (b. 1991, Ivano‑Frankivsk) is a contemporary Ukrainian writer, journalist, blogger, and traveler. Born in Ivano‑Frankivsk and raised in Lviv, he holds a BA in History and an MA in Journalism from the Ukrainian Catholic University. He debuted in 2018 with a prose collection titled The Unstoppable Power of Water. In 2019, he embarked on an expedition to the Vernadsky Antarctic station.
