Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky – late 19th–early 20th-century Ukrainian writer, author of “Fata Morgana” and “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors”. A master of impressionist prose, he depicted folk life, nature, and the human psyche. His works became classics of Ukrainian literature and inspired cinema and theatre.
